On
July 2nd, 2005 we celebrated our union, a union created
by love, trust, respect, and friendship. The marriage
between us did not mark the beginning of a new relationship.
Rather, it was an acknowledgement and celebration of friendship
already in existence.
Some of you have shared much closeness & happiness
with us and we would like to thank you all for coming
to this celebration especially those who traveled great
distances to be with us. Your good wishes are important
to us; for you have enriched our lives and it is from
this that we have learned to enrich each other.
We would also like to thank our parents for the wonderful
lives they have given us; and most importantly for their
everlasting love, support, encouragement and guidance.
We also extend fond and loving thoughts to those who were
unable to attend and those who are no longer with us.
In a special remembrance to our Father/Father in law,
Yadoullah Asghari may his memories remain alive
and strong in our hearts.
OUR VOWS
We exchanged our
vows, vows that have already taken place in our hearts,
vows that were declaration of our love-the security we
find in one another, the deep friendship that we share.
In affirming these vows we reaffirmed the love that we
have cultivated over the past years together.
THE BLESSING
We ask for God's blessing upon
our marriage. That our pathway of happiness through God
and love will cause our lives to unfold in harmony, abundance
and health; That our home will always radiate an environment
of love, well-being and unity; and those who enter may
be blessed and inspired by the harmony and love that dwells
therein. May we realize that true marriage and family
causes us to reveal our faith, our talents and our love
for one another. It is the recognition of this that will
enable us to love faithfully and to keep the covenant
of the vows made between us. This we ask in God's name.
